As you look at the fire situated in the fireplace, does the mains cable emerge from the left or right hand side of the fire?

Hi Anthony, generally speaking these are found on the right hand side of the fire, and in this instance the cable length is 1.7m. I hope this helps.

Do you need to remove section of skirting board to fit this flush to the wall? Otherwise, would it look silly?
