Hi Grace, thanks for getting in touch. In the product sizes of this fire, the inset dims are given as the following:
Inset Height (C) 540mm
Inset Depth (D) 50mm
Inset Width (E) 370mm
So based on the sizes you have give, it would fit yes. I hope this helps?

I have a customer who would like me to fit this fire for them. Just checking the recess depth required. The customers recess depth is 3.5". is this deep enough. Thanks.

3.5" = 8.89 cm so I believe this should fit snugly, I hope this helps?
