I note you state that this fire will not standard 16 inch fireplace, mine is 18 inches so will it still fit with the outside of the fireplace covering the stone fireplace. I want it to look fitted with no gaps around it. The inset measurements are width 470 height 565 depth 180

From the measurements you've given (width 470 height 565 depth 180), the Be Modern Fazer electric fire should fit in your fireplace opening.
It needs a minimum opening space of W: 420 H: 565 D: 90
The front of the fire will cover your opening as it is W: 525mm and H: 590mm
