Our "Free Delivery" is a one-man service. The goods will arrive on a lorry that is about the size of a fire engine. (Please let us know in advance if you have restricted access or other local issues that could affect delivery).
The lorry has a tail lift that allows the driver to get the item(s) off the vehicle. The order will be packed and secured onto a pallet and the driver will have a pallet truck. He'll be able to wheel this as close as possible to your property. The pallet truck can only be wheeled over a finished surface so it's not possible to wheel it over a gravelled drive, steps, steep slopes for example. The pallets are normally about 1m wide so this is the minimum width gate they can fit through. Please note that the driver is not insured to unpack or carry the item(s) into your house.
Fitting Kits and Liner Packs might arrive separately by courier delivery on the same day unless specified/requested in advance. An email confirmation will be sent if this is the case.
If the goods are showing 48hr delivery, then this is the quickest time we're able to deliver these items (We do not deliver at weekends). You'll be asked to select a delivery date when purchasing the goods. Please note that if you live offshore these dates do not apply as it will take us slightly longer to get the goods to you and we will contact you directly.
Please note that it is an all-day delivery service which is generally from 9 am – 6 pm Monday to Friday. Delivery Depots, if they have the facility, will text in advance but as the vans do multiple runs a day you might not receive a text until the afternoon if this service is available.
Due to current pallet network pressures mainly due to driver shortages we cannot guarantee delivery on your chosen day but will do our best to communicate this as soon as we are made aware by the carriers.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU DO NOT BOOK ANY CONTRACTORS, PLUMBER’S, OR FITTERS UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR GOODS AS UNEXPECTED DELAYS CAN OCCUR.
Hi, When building the fire into an aperture are there any ventilation or minimum clearances required around the outside of the fire / body? thanks Rob
Question by: Rob Allen on 18 Dec 2025, 13:33
Hi Rob,
As taken from the manufacturer's installation and user manual:
"From the front of the fire ensure that there is a minimum clearance of 50mm between any non-combustible materials. For combustible material clearances please consult with the manufacturer."
"DO NOT insert or allow objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust openings on the fire. To prevent a possible fire do not block air intakes or exhaust openings in any manner"
"DO NOT place this fire near flammable materials, surfaces or substances, as there may be a risk of fire. Keep flammable materials, surfaces or substances at least 1 metre away from the front of the product."
We hope that this information helps,

With the fixed logs is there the ability to control the lighting effects of the ember bed or is this obscured?
Question by: John on 11 Nov 2025, 11:52
Hi John,
The manufacturer has discontinued their fixed real log version and this will just be an option of loose ceramic or real logs going forward, as per the options selectable on the website at present.
The lighting and colour effects on the bed can be adjusted independently of the flame and overhead downlighting

What is the fire noise output on 1kw and 2kw settings . Also is there a crackling effect option
many thanks
Question by: John on 29 Aug 2025, 14:55
Hi John,
I'm afraid that the manufacturer doesn't provide a specific figure for the noise of the fan heater. Needless to say that there will be a low level of noise when the fan heater is in operation
This model does not come with a crackle noise effect option

What is the minimum distance from the floor that the DLX 1600 can be installed?
Question by: Sarah Porter on 5 Aug 2025, 14:07
Hi Sarah,
The manufacturer information does not state a specific clearance required from the floor. They do request that customers "keep flammable materials, surfaces or substances at least 1 metre away from the front of the product" and "from the front of the fire ensure that there is a minimum clearance of 50mm between any non-combustible materials".
As a general rule and in lieu of any listed clearance, we would recommend a distance of 300mm both aesthetically and to help avoid kicking or knocking the glass.
