What sort of connector does the cable fit to the fire? Is it a standard kettle cable, or something more bespoke?

What is the recomended height above the floor/hearth to fit the fire?

Hi Paul, thanks for getting in touch with us. If you head to the "downloads" section on this product you can view the User Guide, in which it says that the clearance to combustibles to the floor should be: 15 3/4 in. (400mm). I hope this helps!

For heat output the specs say- 'effect only' then say 0.8 kw. what does that mean ?

Hi Peter - thanks for your question. So basically it means it can be one or the other. Either effect only OR 0.75kW - 1.5kW. Hope this clears things up!
