What are the minimum (and maximum) dimensions of the whole behind the fire. Replacing an old fire so need to be sure it will fit.

Hi Andy, thank you for getting in touch with us. In the User Manual it reads:
"The front opening of the fireplace must be between 305mm and 440mm wide, and between 500mm and 650mm high. If the opening is larger than this, then a surround must be constructed in a suitable non-com bustible material to create an opening to these limits. Allow a minimum flat surface of 20mm around the opening to ensure that the closure plate can be sealed to the fireplace. Any surround must be sealed to the fireplace to prevent leakage. The operation of the chimney should be tested"

Hi my fireplace is 780mm in height 860mm in width and the depth is 380mm do you think it will fit and look ok? Also is it easy to use and understand the remote control version as I am a female living on their own?

Hi Diane, thanks for your question. The dimensions of this fire are as follows: Height 703mm, width 684mm, depth 324mm so in terms of sizes it would fit. The remote will come with a user manual to help you understand how to work it. I hope this helps!

Hi Sheila, thanks for getting in touch. The fire's heating settings can be adjusted by remote control, and run from min - max, I would approximate there would be 3 or 4 different heat settings.
