The hearth is the section that lies on the floor at the bottom / front of the fire, and the back panel is the part that sits up against the wall , normally the section where an inset fire would sit. In this instance, this fire does have everything all done and is ready to fit against a flat wall. In terms of safety, you would probably want an electric fire with a glass fronted, enclosed fuel bed.
Electric fires by their nature are quite safe as they don't produce the same level of heat as Gas Fires or, say, a Wood or Multifuel Stove. You could look at electric suites that are glass fronted for extra safety. You can see if a fire is Glass or Open Fronted in the "specification" section of a lot of our electric fire place suites. I hope this helps?

2 Man Delivery
As the name suggests with the two-man delivery service the goods will be delivered by two men.
They will carry your fireplace into the room of your choice.
This service is provided by a dedicated two man delivery company.
They will normally carry it up 1 flight of stairs (if it's safe to do so) but this is at their discretion so if you have a 3rd floor flat, please inform us beforehand to avoid any issues during delivery.
