Q & A
What is micro marble and what is meant by recess? does this mean it cannot be situated on a flat wall?A:Hi,
Thank you for your questions.
Micro marble is made from crushed marble in a bonding resin. It is hard wearing, and provides a much more even colour and pattern than traditional veined marble. You may have seen similar products in kitchen showrooms, they make worktops, especially the more unusual colours, from a very similar material.
A rebate in a fireplace allows the back panel to be moved forward to hide the workings of the fire.
In this particular package if you are fitting to a solid wall rather than an actual fireplace we would recommend you choose the 90mm rebate as this will give you the space required to fit the electric fire flush to the back panel.
Hope this helps?
