I have a Valor gas fire model 5400 540C and would like to change the fire from natural gas to LPG (PROPANE) ,can you please advise on parts and Valor part numbers for my gas fitter to convert my fire

Have tried to order new glass front for valor home flame dream he model 961 but to no avail are thy not making any for this model if not can you recommend any products that clean the glass more the inside than out kind regards john parker

The quickest way to get spares is directly from Valor.
You can call their spares helpline on 0344 248 41 59 (option 4)
Mon - Friday 08:30 - 18:00 and Saturday 08:30 - 12:30
Their website does say they are not taking calls at the moment until 29th June 2020 (Next Monday).
If the glass has become discoloured inside, the fire probably needs cleaning.
Hoover any part that can get dust trapped on them such as the fuel bed and any flat surface within the fire.
You could try Stovax Glass Cleaning Gel, it's made for cleaning wood burner glass but worked wonders on my electric oven too.
It's available online from Amazon for £9- £10, I have tried the Gel but not their spray cleaner so can't comment on that.
