In the description it says that "4.0 kW of gas .. gives you a warming 3.2kW heat output". But in the specifications it says that heat input of 4kW gives a heat output of 2.9kW. Could you please tell me what room heat can be expected from 4.0 kW of gas - 3.2kW or 2.9kW? Thank you.

Going of the manual the output is 2.9KW so i would go with the manual.

Hi Lynsey, thanks for getting in touch. So it is - Midas HE Coal Signature Trim Black Nickel & Black with Aviva Fret in Black Nickel. In terms of the depth you are asking about, I am not entirely sure, but if you are wondering about installation etc, then the user guide in the downloads section should be able to give you some more information?

Hi,
I am looking to replace my current fire, a Verine Quaser HE with the Midas HE or similar (it would need to be a glass front model ,HE not essential ).
I will not require the trim and fret.
Can you advise me which models would fit this requirement and prices less the items not required?

Hi Peter, thanks for your question. You cannot order this Verine product without trim and fret . Any H.E fire would fit as they are all glass fronted. Thanks and I hope this helps.
