Media Wall Fires (Electric)
Media wall fires are built-in electric fireplaces designed to sit within a stud wall, typically installed below a wall-mounted TV to create a modern feature wall.
They’re one of the most popular choices for contemporary living rooms, combining clean lines with realistic flame effects and simple installation.
These models are wide, landscape electric fires designed for media wall installations. Compared to traditional fireplaces, they’re easier to install, require no chimney, and offer greater flexibility in modern living spaces.
Why Choose a Media Wall Fire?
Media wall electric fires are ideal if you want:
- A built-in, modern focal point
- A TV and fireplace combined in one feature wall
- No chimney or flue required
- Flame effects without heat for year-round use
- A clean, space-saving layout
They’re especially suited to open-plan living spaces and newly renovated rooms where a sleek finish matters.
Choosing the Right Media Wall Electric Fire
When comparing models, focus on:
- Size – wider models (e.g. 1000mm-1500mm+) create a stronger visual impact
- Glass style – front-facing or 3-sided for panoramic views
- Flame effects – adjustable colours, brightness, and fuel bed options
- Heat output – typically 1-2kW for supplementary heating
- Controls – remote, app, or smart home compatibility
