In the instructions it shows a fascia. Does this come with the Commodus ?? Or can you buy them?? If you plaster in the appliance how can you repair or service it??

Hi there Mick, thanks for your question. You raise a good point, essentially the instructions are for the engine that powers these fires , however in this instance there is no fascia with this model.

In terms of service and repair, that is something that can only be carried out by a qualified installer, I am not entirely sure how that would work with regard to plastering etc. I hope this helps!

Can a recessed fire be put into a solid wall

"This electric fire is designed to be fitted to a solid wall using the wall mounting bracket as
supplied. The appliance must be kept away from any source of damp or moist conditions. Avoid
any close contact with water.
The wall must be of sound construction and all fixings used must be suitable for the type of wall.
If there is any doubt regarding the suitability of the installation site please contact your supplier.
From the front of the fire ensure that there is a minimum clearance of 50mm between any
non-combustible materials. For combustible material clearances please consult with the
manufacturer.
The fire can be connected direct or plugged into a mains socket which can be sited on the right
hand side of the fire.
Ensure that the plug socket-outlet connection for this appliance is accessible. It MUST be readily
accessible for easy electrical isolation in the event of servicing and replacing components etc.
This appliance MUST NOT be located immediately below an electrical socket-outlet."

Hi Mohit. The User Manual reads:
"DO NOT install the heater immediately below an electrical socket outlet" but it doesn't say you can't install under a TV. Just ensure that it is within your TV's warranty to have a fireplace below it. I hope this helps. Thanks.

2 Man Delivery
As the name suggests with the two-man delivery service the goods will be delivered by two men.
They will carry your fireplace into the room of your choice.
This service is provided by a dedicated two man delivery company.
They will normally carry it up 1 flight of stairs (if it's safe to do so) but this is at their discretion so if you have a 3rd floor flat, please inform us beforehand to avoid any issues during delivery.
